To understand the importance of being able to work effectively with others, including colleagues, managers, and customers, within the transport industry.

 

Overview

 

This vital module focuses on developing transferable skills essential for professional drivers when working with others. Through trainer-led discussions, case studies, real-world examples, and group activities, drivers will explore the importance of positive company image, customer expectations, effective communication, and diversity awareness. Practical strategies for collaboration, handling challenges, and understanding equality legislation are emphasised throughout.

Understand the importance of maintaining a strong company image in a competitive market.

Recognise customer expectations and the impact of service standards on customer satisfaction.

Develop effective communication skills, including interpreting body language and handling customer complaints.
