Aim

To ensure professional drivers understand how to complete a dynamic risk assessment and apply safe working practices in high-risk environments.

Overview

This essential module empowers drivers with the practical knowledge and confidence to assess and manage risks effectively in real-time. Through trainer-led discussions, prompt videos, and scenario-based activities, delegates will explore the principles of dynamic risk assessment, the development of safe systems of work, and strategies for operating safely in restricted spaces or during vehicle loading.

The course highlights legal, moral and financial reasons for carrying out risk assessments, and introduces technologies that support safer driving and operations. Whether transporting goods or passengers, this module helps drivers minimise potential hazards and operate responsibly in complex environments.

End-of-Module Assessment

Delegates complete a group-based PowerPoint quiz designed to reinforce the key concepts and test their understanding of dynamic risk assessment principles and safe operating behaviours.
